International criteria

Olympic qualification period: July 1st 2024 until January 18th 2026
Olympic deadline date: January 18th 2026


Specific criteria

Athletes within the top 30 WCSL standing at the end of the Olympic qualification period within at least 1 discipline (SL, GS, SG, DH) are qualified directly.


All other athletes must be at least fullfill at least one of following criteria during the Olympic qualification period in at least 1 of the following disciplines: SL, GS, SG, DH.


- Score at least 1 World Cup point in the Olympic qualification period

or

- Be in the Top 30 ECSL (EuropaCup Starting List) on the Olympic qualification deadline date

or

- Score a top 24 place in the World Championships during the Olympic qualification period

or

- Be in the top 100 world ranking on the valid FIS points list on the Olympic qualification deadline date

or

- Score a top 16 place in the World Junior Championships during the Olympic qualification period


Internal criteria

· Athletes that are qualified through D2 (WCSL top 30) will take their spot as is.


· All other athletes in accordance with the specific criteria are ranked through following principle, per gender. This process will unfold in a waterfall manner. We start with option 1 and will only proceed to option 2 if there are available spots after option 1. Similarly, we will move to option 3 only if there are still unfilled spots, and so on, until all spots are occupied.


1) The athlete with the most World Cup points over all disciplines (WC + WCC top 15) in the Olympic qualification period will be ranked first, going down the list. In case of an ex aequo, the peak result will be the decider.


2) The athlete with the best Europacup Starting List rank will be ranked first. In case of an ex aequo, the highest total amount of Europacup points will be the decider. In case of an ex aequo, the best peak result will be the decider. Other Continental Cups will not be taken into account.


3) A top 24 World Championship result during the Olympic qualification period. If multiple athletes score a top 24 result, the best result will take priority. In case of an ex aequo the best world ranking of the athlete will be taken into account.


4) The best position within the top 100 on the world ranking on the valid FIS points list is into account, regardless of discipline. In case of an ex aequo, the lowest FIS points on the valid FIS points list will be the decider.


5) A top 16 World Junior Championship result during the Olympic qualification period will be taken into account. If multiple athletes score a top 16 result, the best result will take priority. In case of an ex aequo the best world ranking of the athlete will be taken into account.
